Kendal BID

Kendal BID is now in its second tranch, having successfully being voted in by a fair and democratic process. Nearly 700 business were given the opportunity to vote to keep or to lose Kendal BID going forward.

In 2014 -2019 the Kendal BID plan was based around four priorities:

  • a Confident Kendal
  • a Clean Kendal
  • a Convenient Kendal
  • a Competitive Kendal

Having successfully overachieved on all counts, a proposal for 2019-2024 was developed through a vigorous and independent consultation process. The BID area remained the same.

Unlike some Business Improvement Districts, Kendal BID has always been very open with its successes and equally things we could have done better. Annual reports are one way of doing this and we have produced and distributed a report annually during 2014-2019.
