Kendal BID Development History

BID Shadow Board

The development of the Kendal BID was led by a BID Shadow Board, independently chaired by local businessman, Martyn Nicholson. The Shadow Board was open to BID levy payers with a shared interest in the future prosperity of Kendal, and was made up of a mixture of local business representatives, with the support and assistance of the Kendal Futures Board (KFB) – the town’s regeneration partnership.

The Shadow Board was responsible for preparing the Kendal BID for implementation and establishing a Board of Directors for the Kendal BID Company who will oversee the delivery of the BID Business Plan.
