Kendal Business Improvement District was formed in April 2014, led by volunteers from the business community, its purpose is to develop projects and services that will benefit Kendal’s economy, helping it to remains competitive and healthy in challenging conditions.
Kendal BID a limited, a not for profit company, has introduced grant schemes to help improve businesses and the appearance of the town centre, a busy festival calendar, training opportunities and creates a strong business voice for the town.
